IAs a proud graduate of Gloucester Township Public Schools, I began my career as a fourth grade teacher at JW Lilley Elementary School and moved to Ann A. Mullen Middle School as a language arts teacher in 1996. During my teaching years, I was recognized with the NJ Governor’s Teacher Recognition Award, American Legion Teacher of the Year, Gloucester Township Teacher of the Year, and Camden County Teacher of the Year. Over the years, I have served on numerous building, district, and state committees. Most recently I served on two New Jersey Department of Education committees: Evaluation Pilot Advisory Committee and Achieve NJ Advisory Committee.
In September 2013, I assumed the role as curriculum supervisor in Gloucester Township. In this role, I am responsible for state and federal programs that support our students through school day, after school, evening, and summer opportunities. I work with all of our new teachers to ensure a smooth transition into the profession and our school district. As a lifelong learner and educator, I am thankful for the opportunity to serve Gloucester Township Schools as a curriculum supervisor.
I earned a BA from Rutgers University and MST from Glassboro State College. Additionally, I am a National Board Certified Teacher in English Language Arts.
I firmly believe that education is a precious gift that no one can ever take from you. Parents, educators and students working together is the recipe for success.
