Superintendent's Office

Welcome to the Gloucester Township Public School District website. Our district educates all students in grades K-8 who reside in our district. Gloucester Township operates the largest elementary school district in New Jersey, located approximately fourteen miles southeast of Philadelphia. A total of 6,400 students are served by eight elementary schools and three middle schools. We invite you to browse through this website where you will find an array of information regarding our district, including information on each school and descriptions of all of our regular and specialized programs.

A Message from the Superintendent

The administration and staff of Gloucester Township Public Schools are ready to deliver what is hoped to be another successful school year.

Our middle school Chromebook Initiative has now expanded into a Grade 4 through Grade 8 program.

Our Full Day Kindergarten program is excited to commence the second year of an outstanding program which prepares our young learners academically, socially, and emotionally for 1st grade.  It is our belief that Full Day Kindergarten represents an essential foundation which allows all students to experience a successful transition to formal schooling.

I am confident that the district is prepared to deliver an outstanding year.  If at any time you have an issue that is not receiving an appropriate response, please contact my office.

In essence, it is from this office that the education of more than 6,400 students is overseen each school day, which includes providing both transportation and meals for all students. Additionally, the employment concerns of more than 1,000 individuals are monitored, and the stewardship of district facilities and tax dollars is considered with regard to all decisions.
