The official school and district grade reports, as required under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR), were released on May 29, 2018 by the NJ Department of Education.
This self-assessment was led by the Anti-Bullying Specialist and School Safety Teams in each of our schools. Grades were based on eight criteria, with a maximum total of 78 and submitted to the State for review.
The District Grade is an average of the eleven schools in the District. Individual school grades are listed on their respective web page.
2016 - 2017 District Grade – 72
Since the implementation of the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act, the Gloucester Township School District has made progress in addressing and improving harassment, intimidation and bullying and the school climate and culture, by providing a safe and caring school environment. This environment is one in which students feel positively connected to others, feel respected, and feel that their work is meaningful. We firmly believe that the quality and character of school life profoundly affects student learning and achievement.
As we move forward with the school year, we will continue to address violence prevention and conflict resolution programs, promote student, faculty and staff acceptance of diversity and treat all students with care, fairness and consistency.
